Forever Active, Quingo UK distributor - Mavis Gets New Wheels!

Until 2 years ago, 99-year-old Mavis was a car driver travelling around Gloucestershire, but after hanging up her keys she has taken the plunge and switched to a mobility scooter!

Mavis hasn’t looked back since she took the decision to give up her car and purchase a Quingo. Driving her scooter has ensured that she can keep her independence and mobility, allowing her to be able to visit friends and family easily, without the need for a car. 

Mavis passed her safety assessment with flying colours and is now steadily building her confidence and looking forward to putting the 30-mile range of her scooter to good use. 

The ‘Blue Diamond Driver Check’ is part of the new joint National Scooter Safety Campaign which provides a safety and capability assessment and is free with every test drive of any of the Quingo range. This is part of the new working relationship between Quingo and Age UK to promote safer, more comfortable and confident scooter driving.
