Forever Active, Quingo UK distributor - Quingo helps out at ZSL London Zoo

ZSL London Zoo has recently taken ownership of four brand new 5 wheel Quingo Toura which are now available for rent to visitors of London’s famous attraction. The 5 wheel fleet will be a welcome addition to the Zoo and a great way for animal lovers with limited mobility to safely explore all that is on offer.

Supplied by Forever Active, the UK’s exclusive distributor of Quingo mobility scooters, the Quingo Toura was selected due to its long range capabilities and its ability to manoeuvre safely and easily on the Zoo’s pavements and pathways. The Zoo was looking for a scooter capable of being rented out twice in one day without having to be recharged in between rentals; the Quingo Toura was the ideal choice, offering up to 55 miles maximum range.

So far the Quingo Toura has been a great hit with visitors, enabling those with limited mobility to fully explore the Zoo’s many and varied attractions, such as the popular Sumatran tigers, Jae Jae and Melati, the Humboldt Penguins and many more of the Zoo’s 760 animal species.

For more information on how the Quingo Toura could help you, call FREEPHONE 0800 085 7555 and for those who would like more information on London Zoo, visit their website:

Quingo’s latest Emmerdale appearance!

Emmerdale character Sandy Thomas (played by Freddie Jones) continues to enjoy the finer things in life with the help of his 5 Wheel Quingo Vitess.

Acquired in October of last year, Sandy’s Quingo Vitess has provided him with a safe means of getting around the village and has helped him stay involved with the latest goings-on in the Yorskshire Dales.

Perfect for a character like Sandy, the Quingo Vitess is a long-range, 8mph model capable of navigating the rugged terrain of the Dales as well as being agile enough to turn in the small village stores and pathways. Since its arrival, Sandy’s Vitess has allowed him to safely and easily keep his independence, visit shops and friends, and stay involved with the rest of close-knit Emmerdale community.

Is your traditional scooter this stable?

Here’s a new short movie in our ‘Feature Highlights’ series, this time focusing on the premium stability of the 5 wheel Quingo range and the Quintell Technology used to provide optimum safety in multiple real life situations.

Only Quingo offers the world patented 5 wheel stability system that ensures stability without compromising agility or comfort, areas where traditional 3 or 4 wheel scooters are forced to make trade offs.

Many 3 wheel scooters actually offer a better seating position and better turning circle than 4 wheelers but it is on corners and on inclines where physically all 3 wheel scooters struggle. Only Quingo performs in all of these key areas.

Unlike most scooters, the weight distribution on a Quingo has a forward bias. Users’ legs and feet are positioned low over the front wheels at the same time maintaining the best possible ergonomic driving position. Traditional 4 wheel scooters force legs and feet to be either pushed back behind the front wheels or worse positioned high above them compromising posture. This forward bias not only helps maintain stability on inclines, slopes and hills but also plays a key part in safely negotiating kerbs both up and down.

Another unique stability feature is Kerbmaster™, the world’s first powered anti-grounding and anti-tipping device. When descending higher kerbs, where traditional scooters can become beached on their own anti-tip wheels, Kerbmaster™ auto- activates and safely enables the Quingo to descend to road level without delay. A delay which, in certain situations, could leave a driver in a dangerous position, stranded in a road.

These are just some of the unique stability features of Quingo. To find out more, receive a free brochure or if you would like more information about other features, please call our friendly team today on FREEPHONE 0800 731 3376.
